She's also a mother, a Councilwoman At-Large, and someone who went from homelessness, to renting and to owning a home right here in Trenton. She has lived the challenges facing Trenton families: unstable housing, underfunded neighborhoods, job loss, a government that too often makes daily life harder instead of easier.
That experience, not a title, is why she's running for Mayor.

Jasi began her career in public service in the office of Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman, who later became a Congresswoman. She spent ten years there, helping Trenton families cut through federal red tape and get the help they were owed. She then worked in Mercer County's economic development office, building ties between local businesses and regional investment, specifically in travel and tourism.
In 2022, residents elected her Councilwoman At-Large. That wasn't the start of her work. It continued nearly a decade she'd already put in. On Council, she has focused on public safety, Trenton Water Works, housing, small business, and government accountability, and built a record of turning resident concerns into resolutions, ordinances, and results.
Trenton can't solve its biggest challenges from one level of government alone. Jasi has worked at the state, federal, county, and municipal levels, and built relationships across all of them, plus with nonprofits, schools, employers, and community partners. As Mayor, she'll put those relationships to work securing funding, investment, and support for Trenton.

Jasi holds an Associate degree in Business Studies from Mercer County Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Service and Administration with a minor in management from Kean University.
The Mayor's job is to run City Hall: set priorities, manage departments, deliver results. Jasi is ready to do exactly that.
