I've spent nearly a decade in public service: constituent casework in Congress, economic development work in Mercer County, and now representing you on Trenton City Council. I've seen what government can do when leadership is focused. I've also seen what happens to real families when it isn't.
Trenton deserves better. I know, because I've lived it.
Trenton is New Jersey's Capital City. It has historic neighborhoods, talented residents, committed entrepreneurs, a waterfront, and a powerful history. But too many residents still face public safety concerns, blight, inconsistent services, and a government that's hard to navigate.
Our problems are serious. They are not beyond repair.
The Mayor runs Trenton. That's the job: set priorities, hire qualified people, fill vacancies, coordinate departments, and hold leadership accountable for results. I'll build an administration that does exactly that.
City government should run with urgency and professionalism. Right now, too often, it doesn't.
Reduce crime and strengthen public safety
Reduce poverty and grow economic opportunity
Expand homeownership and reduce blight
Fix Trenton Water Works, and keep it public
Build a government that's accountable and easy to navigate
A stronger Trenton isn't built by concentrating opportunity in a few neighborhoods. Every ward deserves safe streets, clean blocks, reliable services, and a government that listens. My administration will serve the whole city, not just parts of it.
Trenton doesn't need another list of promises. It needs leadership that can organize government, build partnerships, secure resources, get results, and be honest when a strategy isn't working.
